As winter is just around the corner, we realize there are many children who don't have a hat to keep them warm. Or maybe they don't have a bow for their hair, or a pair of shoes. For the next month we're giving free patterns to people who will use them to give to someone in need. Simply go to our shop on Etsy (skiptomyloop.etsy.com) and select one of our patterns. Then write a comment on this post telling us which pattern you want, how you plan to use it, and the email address that we should send the pattern to (if you prefer not to list your email, you can email us at skiptomyloop.crochet@gmail.com with your request). Once you use the pattern for service, you are free to use it for personal use.

Checked out your etsy shop and you have very cute baby things. I love your Baby Mary Loop shoe pattern and would love to make some to give away through our church, (Prayer Shawl group),to new babies as they are baptized. We give either a hat or blanket and booties. I wasn't sure if your giveaway was still in effect.

I just visited your shop, wow your items are cute. I would love to receive the Curly-Cue Hat pattern. There is a charity based in MD that collects baby items (bottles, clothing, blankets, even pampers) to make newborn packages for first time parents who are in need. I would love to give them some cute hats to take their babies home in. Thanks for the giveaway

I have purchased from you shop and have been very pleased with my order. I saw your giveaway and was interested. On our AirForce Base we have a place called the Airmen's Attic. It is basically a shop where people can go to receive unwanted items for free. It also collects baby items for new mothers and less fortunate families. I have purchased baby patterns in the past specifically for donating the items produced. I was hoping to receive the BABY BOOTS pattern from this giveaway. It is cold here and many mothers cant afford adequate foot coverings for small children. I think that this is a great giveaway and every little bit someone can do is always appreciated.

I would love to use the Bear Hug Scoodie pattern, I donate to hospitals and a place at our church where they give away hats and other baby/children needed things for single moms or moms in need and children in need. I think this pattern would be super cute and awesome to use, and I would love to see there faces when i bring a couple to them.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteJust came across your beautiful patterns and would love to have the curly que hat to make for several locations in our area. We have a large hispanic community that comes from the deep south each year. We are finding that as it gets colder earlier in the season, they are not prepared for cold and the kids need warm things. I think that these hats would be a beautiful thing in bright multi-colors for the girls and even little boys would like them. We have also been taking up donations at work for a Warm Kids donation to the local schools.
I used to also purchase extra hats/mittens to give to the teachers when my children were young and there would be some in the class who did not have these things when the weather turned cold. Now that I have been making them, it seems to delight them all!
Thanks for offering this!

Hi, I would love to have the Baby Mary Loop Shoes pattern to make some shoes for some families in my church and area that have recently had little ones that could use some little shoes to keep their feet nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this offering!

If you still do this i would like to make some hats for the babies at the hospital my mom works at. I think it would be nice for them to have something warm, since it gets cold in there. I was thinking the curly-cue hat pattern if possible.
